Hello world. My first ever blog. I am setting this up to share some of my world as a 39 year women living with ADD. Some of you may relate, some of you may start to understand, and some of you may laugh with me.
Today my meds, conterta, have gone from 36mgs to 45mgs. I am pleased to report that there doesn’t seem to be a foggyness that I had last year when I went from 27 to 36mgs. I am praying this might be the right dose.
I have had my dose upped because I am feeling a slight sense of failure over missing 2 important meetings this past fortnight. A three way conference with my 10 year old son and his teacher and a hospital orthodontic appointment with my 14 year old son. I find it of note that on both these days I had an interruption to my plans. My Dear husband was home sick on one of the days and we had a geotech drill up our drive shaking my nerves to pieces for the other.
Today… I think I have been looking at my shower for about 6 months each morning and saying to myself, I will clean it today. Today I decided to clean it before I got in. Brilliant. For a gross shower any way it it smells and looks clean. Now there seems a lot of mess left surrounding the job, but I had this wonderful idea of setting up a blog as well! But, I shall now complete this task, seems simple, but a lot of distractions can slow this job down… Washing, changing rooms while removing something, the phone. My goal is to do it in 10 minutes from start to finish.
